Millets in the Pacific NW!

Here is a great write-up about proso growing programs in the Pacific NW! https://www.capitalpress.com/ag_sectors/grains/millet-momentum-northwest-res... -- Joni Kindwall-Moore BSN-RN, BA Founder, Innovator, Mother, Nurse, CEO, Activist *SNACKTIVIST INC* P: 406-334-1608 *www.snacktivistfoods.com <http://www.snacktivistfoods.com/>*

Hi, Joni, and Happy New Year! May this year be a healthy and prosperous one. And the Year of Millets is finally underway... This is a good article, thanks for sharing. It touches on several useful angles with a local perspective (and nice to see your input included). Helpful also to highlight the relatively less research on proso for the PNW - one of many areas to address. Noting also that the author of the article (bcc'd) does a great job of transitioning between writing about millets in general and about the specific kind of millet (proso) of interest. A good example for other journalists and news outlets, which are sometimes unclear or confusing in handling the topic.
