This is a good article, thanks for sharing. It touches on several useful angles with a local perspective (and nice to see your input included). Helpful also to highlight the relatively less research on proso for the PNW - one of many areas to address.

 

Noting also that the author of the article (bcc'd) does a great job of transitioning between writing about millets in general and about the specific kind of millet (proso) of interest. A good example for other journalists and news outlets, which are sometimes unclear or confusing in handling the topic.
