Thank you Don! I hope we can get some of our NAMA folks to activate- sometimes people think it is spam so I appreciate you sharing in the collab. Once we have settled on our database of US millets resources (Gary- we added inport and export resources last week), I will see if Leigh can add them to the asset map of businesses in the NAMA Ryzosphere. Since we have "members" and "businesses" as two layers of our community. That will be such cool visualization. NAMA seeks to promote millets as sustainable crops and nutritious foods, and an important part of that effort is building the business community involved in their production, processing, and marketing.
The Ryzosphere, as Joni explains, has a broader mission, not limited to millets. The overlap is handled by the communities feature within the larger Ryzosphere platform - in our case the NAMA Community.
This collaboration also facilitates linkages with The Ryzosphere's broader user community. Please check out Joni's message to this list yesterday on the "Meet the Ryzosphere" opportunities to get a live "walkthrough" of the platform.
