The North American Millets Alliance, the FEAST Lab at University of Missouri, and the Center for Regenerative Agriculture, also at the University of Missouri invite you to the 8th in its year-long series of monthly Millets Webinars during the International Year of Millets. It is this coming Wednesday, 16 August at 5-6 pm EDT. The Webinar theme this time is " On & off the shelf: Millet products in markets today," and it will feature presentations by two experts, followed by Q&A: * Caroline Sluyter, Program Director of the Oldways Whole Grains Council, will present on products made with millets, and the growth in numbers of these over the last decade. She will draw on the Whole Grain Stamped Product Database, a unique resource of product information. * Tapas Chandra Roy, Certified Farm Advisor for Millets at the National Institute of Agricultural Extension Management (India), author, and longtime expert advocate for millets. He will present on millet products from India - the largest producer and processor of a wide variety of millets. This Webinar is a chance to hear two different and complementary perspectives on the growing number of food products made of or with millets. (Except for beverages, which will be the focus in September.)
