CFP: Crop Science special section on millets & IYM (deadline 31 Mar 2024)

Just saw this: A call for papers for the journal Crop Science. This CFP opened in Dec. 2022, and closes on 31 March 2024. See https://acsess.pericles-prod.literatumonline.com/journal/14350653/specialsec... for details, including where to submit papers (scroll down to bottom of webpage). Their description: "We are seeking submissions for a special section in Crop Science to commemorate the 2023 United Nations-designated International Year of Millets. Millets are among the first plants to be domesticated, have a high nutritional content, and require little water. They are a staple food for millions of people in Sub-Saharan Africa and Asia. With this special issue, we wish to highlight the production, cultivation, and benefits of millets as a solution to climate change and global food security challenges." My thought: It would be helpful to have - either in this journal or another publication - a review of current research in North America on millets. That's too big a project to start from scratch now and complete in 6 weeks, but if someone has already been collecting such information, maybe it could be done.
