Thank you, Dipak. This is very helpful. It is good to share info on this list about major new publications on millets. I'll take the liberty of copying below, the "About this book" and TOC from the publication page you shared. That will facilitate finding author names and title key words/phrases in searches of the Collab archives. DO, EL, MI, US NAMA * About this book * "This book brings out a comprehensive collection of information on small millets. The main focus of this book is to introduce the various types of long forgotten small millets to the readers, their genetics, botany and diversity, cultivation, breeding strategies, genomic resources available, how they can be incorporated into the existing cropping systems, their processing strategies and value addition to incorporate into daily diet of humans. It covers finger millet, foxtail millet, proso millet, barnyard millet, little millet, kodo millet, and browntop millet. "Millets originated before 10000 BC and were consumed by humans across civilizations until the green revolution took place in India and other developing countries. After green revolution, due to the advent of high-yielding varieties, as the area, production, and market of wheat and rice increased, the acreage of millets gradually decreased. However, with increasing lifestyle diseases, humans have recognized the potential of small millets crop. It is now being considered as super food and smart food as they are nutri-packed and rich in calcium, phosphorous, iron, zinc, and fiber, which is much higher than that available in wheat and rice. This book is of interest to the students, research scholars, national and international agricultural scientists, millet professionals, and food industry." * Table of Contents * Small Millets Genetic Resources Management Maruthamuthu Elangovan, Karnam Venkatesh Pages 1-16 Conservation and Utilization Status of Small Millets in Nepal Krishna Hari Ghimire, Ram Prasad Mainali Pages 17-33 Quality Seed Production of Small Millets R.
