"Millets in the U.S.A.: Importance, Challenges, and Potential for Innovation"

The July issue of the Plant Breeding and Genetics Newsletter (#53) includes articles from distinguished researchers on millets in various regions, including one by Dinakaran Elango, Juan Di Salvo, Srikanth Panthulugiri, Rituraj Khound, David M. Brenner, Asheesh K. Singh, and Dipak K. Santra entitled "Millets in the U.S.A.: Importance, Challenges, and Potential for Innovation" (pp. 12-13). This is a very nice and succinct overview of millets in the US and their potential. As one would expect, a significant part of the article discusses proso millet.
