The  Joint FAO/IAEA Centre of Nuclear Techniques in Food  and Agriculture. Vienna, Austria, has issued a call for proposals for grants to conduct research on proso millet, pearl millet, and finger millet: "Accelerated Genetic Improvement of Key Dryland Millets for Climate Change Adaptation (D24016)," The deadline for submissions is 15  December 2023.

"The IAEA [International Atomic Energy Agency], through the Joint FAO/IAEA Centre of Nuclear Techniques in Food and Agriculture, is launching a new Coordinated Research Project (CRP) focused on Accelerated Genetic Improvement of Key Dryland Millets for Climate Change Adaptation, spanning a five-year timeframe from 2024 to 2028."
