Greetings:
We at Sorghum United would like to thank the leadership of the United Nations FAO in seeing through a successful International Year of Millets. Our organization took full advantage of the year as we began to grow our grass-roots level of sorghum and millets stakeholders around the planet. Our mission is to address hunger, malnutrition, and environmental and economic sustainability through the promotion of these grains into regional food systems.
We have recently launched a refined global network platform! And, we invite you to join. Whatever your role in the sorghum and millets value chain. Follow the link to our Whatsapp Community page. There, you will find a General Forum, Researchers Forum, Producers Forum, Processors Forum, Industry Adjacent Professionals Forum, Consumers Forum and Policy-Makers Forum. Join any or all tailored to your interests.
We are seeing large growth in our global stakeholder network. Meaning, this is an ideal platform for international networking and the exchange of ideas. As a NGO, Sorghum United does not receive any taxpayer funds. Nor do we solicit grants. We are self-funded through the sales of our Sorgho Squad children’s book series, which also serves our consumer development efforts.
