* Prof. David Baltensperger (Texas A&M University), who discussed proso millet, with focus on its current status in the US

* Dr. Laurajean Lewis (Platform for Agrobiodiversity Research), who discussed pearl millet, with focus on its variability and cultivation in Sahelian Africa 

* Prof. Francesca Bray (University of Edinburgh (emerita)), who discussed foxtail and proso (aka broomcorn) millets in Chinese history, with attention to their decline in importance relative to rice and wheat, and the recent resurgence of interest in them.
