The Collab list was begun in 2022 with a focus on the International Year of Millets (2023) in North America. In 2024 and beyond, we are hoping this list can continue to play a role in building the community of interest and action on millets.

One thing we haven't done here before is encourage enterprises working on millet products to tell us about their work and what they offer. Along those lines, I'm going to approve a post from a non-subscriber sent earlier this year. Their business in India - Anika - is planning consumer packaged goods with millets, and possible manufacturing in the US. 

(Collab would limit such publicity to once every 6 months, as we see how ethis works.)

We also like to hear more about research on millets, including in food processing. So I'll approve another post from a non-subscriber about research on millet flours in cookie doughs, received earlier this month.

We do prefer that people subscribe to the list, so if you have friends, colleagues, or business associates who you think could benefit from and contribute to discussions here, please invite them to join us.

One final note in this post - I apologize for the 4 week gap in posts. I've had to tend to a number of other matters, but will catch up.
